May 11, 2002 ![]() The replica of the Azel Dorsey home is a two-story cabin, six-over-six double hung sashes and a chimney on the east. Dorsey was one of Abe's school teachers. The first court of law in Spencer County was held in his home. The floor is made of puncheons, heavy pieces of roughly dressed timber, hewed out with a broad ax, and put down with pegs. ![]() Front View
